I rushed this jumpsuit out for a family studio shoot. In was kinda an improvised outfit I managed to create without a pattern. It turned out very now. My husband’s colleague asked for one in her size LOL! I love it cos it’s oh so retro and keeps baby cool even on a warm summer day. She looks happy doesn’t she:)
The basic pattern is Burdastyle, but I enlarged the neckline, removed/moved in the sleeve seams and added embellishment and a chinese collar to it. Ta da!
I’ve always wanted to sew a retro playsuit and here it is. Cool, comfortable and pretty:)
This lovely butterfly fabric is Moda Fabric’s Metamorphosis in Jam from its Momo Wonderland Collection (Inspired by Alice in Wonderland). How cute!
My sweetheart in a Yo-Yo Dress I made. She smiled. I heart her. Make one for your sweetheart or yourself. No pattern required, just follow the simple Made By Rae tutorial on Sew Mama Sew . Very easy and very rewarding.
